My husband is in the Air Force currently deployed, and my little brother is in the Army also currently deployed. Seeing displays like these, and knowing that there are people out there that care, puts a smile on my face! My husband is retired Army, since 1 Jan '91, but I still and does he, that the military past and present are our family. This video had me crying all the way through as the song is one of my favorite and also using the songs from each service as well was just heartwarming! There should be a button with 2 thumbs up for videos like this. My Mother, Brother, & I have all been deployed during holidays at least twice and it never gets any easier. I love this video, not because of the music or the light performance, but because someone took so much time to honor us still serving and our veterans before us. God bless whoever did this.

I had a few more words to say. When you see a service member thank them for their service, shake their hand, give them a hug. It doesn't matter whether they went overseas to fight as their jobs here in the states are just as important and needed. Though many may have wanted to go, but couldn't due to their job, they still serve us every day. God bless them all and their families. May the spirit of Christmas follow us all through the New Year and help to make our country a better place.

My name is Doreen and I am 49 years old. My dad was in the Army in WWII. My uncle was also, and was killed in Germany. My father-in-law spent 8 months starving on an island in the South Pacific with his comrades, many of whom also didn't make it home. His wife served as a WAC. My husband served in the Navy, my eldest brother also, and another brother served in the Army. My nephew served as a Seal. All gave some - some gave all. All I can say is THANK YOU for posting this. My grandfather was a WWII Veteran for the U.S. Army. And he loved Christmas. This will be my first Christmas without him. He passed away April 18th, 2011. And he would have loved this, and would have thought that this was the greatest thing in the world. The invisible wound: a charlie horse on your shoulder, your friend comes up and hits you on the shoulder, not realizing it hurts, and you give him an unexpected reaction. That's PTSD.
