I’ve got a 2011 very similar to the one you’re driving, and I often monitor various items with a Blue Driver app, especially when pulling heavy or long trips at high speeds. It helps to prevent worse situations hopefully by catching out of normal ranges, but beyond that, teaches me more about how this thing operates. Keep it up…great informational videos.

Nothing like having a diesel that performs like a sports car. I watch everything with optional gauges because it helps to catch a problem before it's a catastrophic failure. With all the emissions components one of the most overlooked things to keep an eye on is the exhaust back pressure! Gale Banks has a video of how it puts pressure all the way back into the cylinders robbing HP.

So, I had a weird issue like this where my demand was much lower than actual…. It was completely random when it would do it. I replaced the control valve of the on pump first, but it continued to do it. So, before I bought a new pump I decided to flash a different tune in it first. I now have driven over 5k miles without it doing it.

I got a 2011 F350 Ford just replaced my CCV box as I guess it was plugged and causing excessive crankcase pressure. But now a persistent P1249 code, Ford replaced a vacuum line fixed for a week now code back again and Ford hasn't a clue, drivin me nuts.

My 14 threw the P04DB code. Covered under 17m04 CSProgram. All they did was put a collar on the end of the snorkel, sort of like a piece of shrink tube and a ECM reprogram. What's up with the collar? It's a "permanent" fix. WTF?

Bottom right was fuel rail demanded pressure, bottom left was fuel rail actual pressure. The issue was that when demand was maxed out, the pump would fail to maintain and would drain the fuel rail, resulting in a loss of pressure.
