Got one of these in Satin blue. Made in 2011 only. 3/4 sized body, great pickup. Last of the Melody Makers. Fun playing guitar.

These didn't all come with grover tuners the one I bought in 2011 came with fake kluson tuners branded "gibson". These were severely hit or miss they used whatever they had to build them during the time Gibson had no good fretboard wood and used cooked maple in place of rosewood. It's still a fun jammer of a guitar but the parts were inconsistent af.

I know I'm late to the conversation, but advanced plating is USA made, and widely used on Gibson guitars to my knowledge

The HB103 is a Duncan Designed pickup from Asia, not a USA made Seymour Duncan pickup.

Advance Plating Inc are used extensively by Gibson. It's one of the way's we see if our Gibson's are stock. It's the right hardware.

Considering the fact that despite what he says in the video, the guitar is not stock. The Duncan and Grovers are an upgrade to how it came stock, $500 is a great price. Were it stock, $350 would be better. The stock pickup was a Gibson 491T Ceramic POS. And the stock tuners were Kluson style Gibson Deluxe with white buttons...good tuners but Grovers are much better.
