Helped tremendously - especially getting the broken one out. Once you get the top clips in, suggest a towel over the mirror and just using pressure to get the side clips secured. You will know when it clips in, the mirror direction control will work.

I just replaced on 2015 Honda crv- very difficult to reclip the bottom clips. What finally worked was pushing on the bottom of the mirror to get the inner plate pushed all the way back and THEN applying pressure over the bottom clip area.
