Wife's '09 CRV at 120k miles had its first engine light ever a couple weeks ago, P2646, an oil pressure / VTEC issue. All advice pointed to changing out the VTEC solenoid which I did (simple job but PITA to get to). The car was good for a day then set the same code again. Trouble is it goes into limp mode at 3k RPMs, gotta do something about it. Trying to figure out my next move. Fortunately we have a driving school so there are other cars she can use, but we want to get this one usable again! Then one of these days when she gets a different car we'd like to turn this CRV into a training car for the school. It's been a great car and aside from MPG it would be an excellent training car.
