Nice review. The G37 has a great balance of Sport and Luxury with the emphasis on Sport. Great acceleration, great handling, responsive steering that provides feedback that many others have tuned out or can't find with electronic steering and you have an exceptional car. This all in a car that is extremely reliable and comes at a reasonable price.

I own one and I don't drive it fast mainly because it uses alot of fuel. It's nice to have the power there for passing and merging into traffic ect.

How's that lollipop? For real though great car. I have a 2010 g37x coupe black on black with 50k on it that I got about a month ago and love it. I got an update to the Tranny, added AfE air filters, and some z1 post MAF intake hoses. Also switched to redline oil and only use 93 octane now. Along with taking tracking control off when I drive, these made big differences in responsiveness and made it a joy to drive. Sure it can get a little quirky here and there but nothing big. She's fun to drive and smooth now.

Correction. The maxima and 3.5 Altimas don’t come with an HR motor they come with a 2nd gen VQ35DE

I’ve never gotten over 25mpg. I don’t know which backroad you were driving on but it must’ve been all downhill. Otherwise overall I love my g37.

Will this be your only car? Do you ever have to drive in snowy weather? If so go for the X. I have a 2013 G37X and live in NY. The car drives well in sloppy weather and wouldn't have considered an S model for every day required use. I also wouldn't want it to ride any stiffer than what I have. If you are considering a sport model test drive it well to decide if you can live with that suspension setup.

I just bought one, i had a 04 G35x and nothing but replacing wheel bearings and once the the front driveshaft broke it was time to retire it, i retired it at 270K

It's still fresh. It really doesn't feel any different from when my family initially bought it. And, of course, not a single thing to pay for besides gas and a couple of oil changes x)

If you choose to get the IPL G, I would go with the manual. The 7 speed auto is okay (paddle shifters are great when available), but when driving in regular mode the transmission is somewhat reluctant to drop when you put your foot down. Otherwise, you'll be as happy as anyone else who owns this car is!

no, the insurance will be a lot for a young person. keep cheap cars unless you can insure the G to an older family member.

You won’t get 3k in trade in value maybe 2k at most. I have 03 with 53k and my trade in value was 15-2500. I was real close to scooping 11’ g37 with only 40k on odo. 14,900. Guess I’ll be keeping the side bu for awhile longer haha

Placing the engine towards the center of a vehicle is not innovative. For many decades, from dragsters to Indy cars, engines have been positioned accordingly. I like the video, but your camera movement is very annoying. Your opinion about the way the front is shaped is to benefit a potential pedestrian being hit may or may not be true. If true, then said pedestrian probably would end up in the front seat via the windshield/windscreen... just saying.

The 2010-2015 E350 were piece of shits, our family friend had one. The Interiors were outdated, it had terrible handling, body roll, had a very aged look and had reliability issues. The G37's are great, especially for car people. The average person would prefer the Benz because of name brand
