Wasn't a fan of the design initially but it has grown on me.

Steve, PASM also requires the air suspension. The base Panamera V6 and V8 have the steel-coil suspension. Cost adds up, and reliability will also likely suffer with the air suspension if the car is bought.

That sounds like a good point Steve. The base 2013 Cayenne i owned also did not have PASM and i think for a budget buyer of a used car, having PASM is more of a gamble than a necessity as it will add up on costs over a period of ownership of 4 years or say 50-60k miles.

I test drove one i hated the tiptronic buttons and how it has only one cup holder and its place! i remember when shifting from the gear lever i hit the water bottle placed in the cup holder. but it did drive well...

@boy638 Too new...I didn't consider it because the EPA has not released their test data yet.

@thugangel662 There is indeed another cupholder...it's just hidden on the passneger's side. Shifting from the center console worked best for me!

most fuel efficient Panamera? beating even the Hybrid?

@ron20102002 I'm not comparing it to the Chrysler (which, by the way, isn't bad). I'm just saying that this Panamera doesn't have enough performance for the badge it carries, as evidenced by its speed in comparison to something as boring as a Chrysler 200. I never said I'd rather have a 200 instead, that would be silly. However, I will say that I'd rather have a Chrysler 300 SRT8, before this V6 Panamera. While almost surely less luxurious, it would slaughter a V6 Panamera at any track.

I've heard that a V6 Chrysler 200 can do 0-60 in about 5.5 or so, which makes sense given that it's not too far off 300hp itself, and is much lighter than the Panamera (while of course being a lot smaller and more spartan and so on). I would not buy a Porsche that can lose, under any circumstances, to a FWD family-car of the same year. If I want a luxury yacht, I'll buy something else. I'd consider a Porsche only if I was prepared to buy one that can reliably dominate the public at large.

@@TodayWeTry The Chrysler 200 may be a steaming POS, but it's still faster than this base V6 Panamera. Now that said, today I totally WOULD buy a Porsche that would lose a drag race to a V6 sedan, just so long as it was light and sporty and fun to drive. 986 Boxster, for example. But a Panamera is so heavy and so expensive - I think it demands the V8. Still not into yachts.

@JETZcorp Chrysler 200 V6 can do 0-60 about 6.5 sec and come on you cant compare this to Chrysler.
