Funny, people say they hate this car from Porsche. The truth is, before the Cayenne and this car, I would never consider buying a porsche because it was not practical enough for me, and if I had money to burn I would buy a Ferrari instead if I just wanted to drive myself and another person! These cars gave Porsche new customers that think like I do... I used to hate Porsches, now I love them!

The interior is one of the most comfortable interiors that I have ever ridden in, and I have ridden in many luxurious, expensive vehicles. Maserati, BMW, Mercedes, etc. just cannot compare.

Yeah I agree at the end of the day would you rather porsche stay in business and competitive by selling new models like this, or would you rather them struggle and keep pumping out traditional overall uneconomical sports cars. my neighbor has had 2 of these. granted he works for Porsche and gets a new car every 6 months. but he has had 2 since he moved in. the other was a Cayenne Hybrid. He has a Panamera now. I don't know what trim level. but i get to see it every day. love the look of it.

Audi and BMW are great cars but they are no comparison to Porsche. Porsche is actually in a much higher class. no offense. After you own a 911, you will not find anything comparable. You will have difficulty trade it in even for a newer 911. You will develop a passion for it. that is the only sports car that can be used as a daily driver. the maintenance is easy, it is 100% reliable, it is the best car in the world! The panamera with sport plus drive like a 911. It is remarkable, fantastic.

I'm about to replace my 2011 Cayenne. Now that a hide away hitch is available in US for Panamera decision is tough. Which do I order Carmine Red Cayenne or Carmine Red Panamera? If you order all the suspension packages they are true Porsches.

I am going to leave this right here. Audi S6, 0-60 3.7 secs, $71,000; BMW M5 0-60 3.7 secs, $90,000. I am have to look at one of these Porsche abominations everyday in my neighborhood, in horrible gold no less. Thankfully there is a black Gran Turismo to balance my day out. It is a great car that desperately needs a new look. Great review as usual nonetheless.

Pure beauty. But Ron, cmon. Rear hatch space is near non-existent. Barely a carry-on fits back there. Something to think about for long distance traveling. Still stunning. Center console looks something serious. There's probably a owners manual just for that.

The 2011 Audi S6 takes 5.0 seconds for 0-60MPH and who knows what the 2013 model will do? But yes the BMW is one mean machine agreed.

Because the diesel makes much more sense in many countries. For instance where I'm from diesel is 1/3 the price of petrol. Also, even a rich person doesn't like spending needlessly, plus if you travel by car across Europe in pure comfort you'll be happy to know you can go 750 miles before refuelling.
