2011 SAAB 9-3 Door Lock Replacement

The drivers side door lock on this 2011 SAAB 9-3 had an intermittent fault which meant occasionally it wouldn't open. A replacement unit was fitted which has cured the issue.

Thanks! My lock wouldn't open from inside our outside. Wasn't sure how to get the panel off, but when I started working on it, my wife just came out to tell me something and the door opened. All the cables look great so now the lock assy will get replaced. Must be part of theft. Amazing, inside of the door looks like new. Love this car.

I had this issue and replaced the lock. Problem solved.

Great instructional video. Do you need to disconnect the negative on the battery first?

It's actually door latch not lock,IMHO lock is with key hole.
