How do you turn off 4WD

You can't, I'm not sure if it's an all time all wheel drive like Subaru or if it has a front wheel drive system that turns the rear wheels into drive wheels when the front wheels slip. But either way there is no way to turn it off and all you can do is turn on or off the differential lock (the big lock button on the driver's side of the radio) the differential lock only works up to 20-25 mph though. The differential lock choice is the reason why the Rav is considered a 4wd vehicle instead of an all wheel drive vehicle from what I've heard.

@@Curious_gen it only limits wheel spin, but I do leave it on when it is real slick. If the snow is deep, I turn it all off so I can spin if needed. VSC (vehicle stability control) is what I always leave enabled to try and help keep me from sliding as much.
