what i like most about all of your vids is the high "average folks and their giant motorhome" factor, and I mean that in the best way possible. you guys seem so neighborly, down to earth and self-sufficient w/o flaunting your families' obvious success. cheers!

Yes, if you do not have "dripless" shafts the drip is normal and can actually be adjusted based on temperature. It is one of the things we monitor during our engine room checks.

Amazing boat Kathy! Hoping to have a Nordhavn my self one day and if you ever stop by Europe or Scandinavia I'd be more than happy to join you or atleast drool over your lovely ship!

It was the valve between the sea chest and watermaker - stuck closed as it had not been opened in awhile. A couple gentle taps and it opened and all was fine.

Yes, we did a non-stop passage of 104 hours. With three people, at night we do 3-hour watches so you are on for three, then off for six. During the day we do four hour watches.

Thanks for the cruise south "outside". Saves time and certainly fuel when you think about it and is logical given a well found vessel such as yours. Why the WOT run? To keep the Detroit's running clean?

I noticed water and water droplets on the shaft. Is that common?

Why do you make a wide open run? and for how long do you do it?
