Hi David, at MIN 8:16 you mentioned "make sure you don't turn this here (the part of the gadget that turns)". What happens you if you do move it? I replaced my steering wheel and during the process i notice the connectors were in the down position, so I just put them back up without knowing the correct direction (left or right). Now I have that C1433 code. How does you correct the position assuming the sensor does not need replacement, please?

you have to use techtream program to calibrate it, there a special procedure of how to do that

I have no codes, but I have to replace the turn signal stalk. Will I need to calibrate my clock spring if I disconnect it?

I am not 100% sure, but as long as you mark everything, and put everything back the way you suppose to, you may not have to calibrate the angle sensor.

Sounds like it's just the switch for the blinker. Not the angle sensor, all this does is read the angle of your wheels. Doesn't effect turn signals
