Saying the size and head type of the botls would be really helpful. The same goes for the types of electrical connectors to help people avoid breaking them. The bolts on the side for mine had T-27 Torx heads. You can use a screwdriver to pop off the bottom cover. The black electrical connector for the horn has a push clip that you may need a flathead screwdriver the depress and them pull the connector off. The yellow connector needs to be popped just out of the housing clip and then the black tab just slides back away from the other connector to come off easily. The center bolt on the steering wheel has 14mm hex head (normal sockets).

You can go to your local dealership they should still be available to order. But if not eBay or junk yards should sell them usually with out the air bag for liability

Really good video - am unable to reset maintenance and oil reset as the down arrow on the steering wheel left side is not working. Appreciate any guidance or work around so can reset maintenance reminders?

If I disable the negative terminal & be as careful as you I don’t see a problem right ? It can’t go off if battery is disconnected right ? Thanks

it shouldnt, after disconnecting the battery i would wait about 10 minutes to allow everything to discharge just to be on the safe side but there is always a chance something can go wrong even with all the precautions taken

Steering wheel bolt is 29ft.lbs and air bag side bolts are 6.9ft.lbs

I need to replace the left volume control. Is it possible to replace without completely removing the steering wheel? I wasn't able to see how its attached to the lower silver plastic trim piece from the video.

I can’t remember exactly but I believe you need to remove it because it is held in by a screw

Good video... apart from the only fiddly bit is removing the air bag and you skipped that part....

I just remove the trim part thats messed up without taking all that crap out. I have a 2013 civic. With a trim tooland start prying . Theres also a filler which is used to cover all imperfections and the areas where is all "chewed up" around steering wheel. I did this and worked fine, at least on my car....
