That metal on your kitchen wall is a heat shield for your stove. You might end up with melted peel and stick tile, if you plan to use the stove.

I'm thinking the same thing. Heat shield. Use caution.

The metal sheet on the wall next to the stove is there for a reason. It’s a heat shield to protect the wall board from damage from the heat when you cook. Also when you paint over the walls in manufactured homes and rv’s you have to use a very specific type of paint and you have to properly prepare the walls before you paint. If you don’t the paint will just peel off particularly in places that have a high moisture (steam) environment.

I was thinking the same thing. 😮 Maybe they did buy the correct paint but I painted a relatives manufacturered bathroom and the paint did that exact thing. They just bought regular paint. I may have primed it first but still peeled. So Bunkey you may have to paint again. 😢. I'm not trying to give you a hard time just a suggestion. I love you guys ❤

Speaking from experience, removing the metal heat shield may seem like a good idea but the replacement peel and stick tile will melt.

The peel and stick will not hold up to the moisture from cooking, ask me how I know - yep I learned the hard way and now I’m replacing my mess up. You both are such a joy 🌷

Great choice on your bathroom paint color 😊 Thats the color we went with in our kitchen along with marshmallow white. We did the wall behind our stove in copper stick on tiles. 😊

The peel and stick will probably need more adhesive of some sort to stay on the wall near the stove. The heat will dry it out and it will fall. If that silver backsplash were gold that would look so good. Especially since it’s already a heat proof product. Sunny is looking fantastic, great job guys❣️

My sister and her husband had a camper very similar to this one. The table area in the down position was so another sleeping area could be created. That's why the table was wide. It provided a small area where a child could sleep.

The metal by the stove is a fire shield. Do not remove that. The fire could melt the back splash material or catch it on fire if you replace the metal with that. Please be careful. ❤

Love the rugs Jess ❤ What a beautiful find!! And I noticed your matching can opener matches the trays! 😂 Looking really pretty. I got a canister to hold my knives and utensils too. But I would have to agree on the heat shield by your stove and not use the peel and stick right where that is. Maybe above and around sink and under cabinets etc but not around the stove. I know you want it to look pretty and it will once you get everything in there but it needs to be functional too my dear for your safety. Love you Bunkey's!!
