2012 Chevrolet Impala 3.6 VVT gets new fuel injectors

I replace this engine with a used engine back in July. The original engine had 136,000 miles on it and was replaced with an engine with 75,000 miles on it. When I swapped engines I had a hard time getting it started and when I did get it started feel injector five or cylinder number five was misfiring. I swapped that whole rail on bank one and it took care of that problem. But there still was a hot start issue to where the engine will run rough. Fuel trim on being to you was -30. And the dealership recommended replacing all the injectors. So I replaced all their injectors And I took care of that problem and now onto the rotors and pads. I also put in a block heater which is super easy but expensive parts.

I got a question Ill see if you can answer, Working on the same engine is the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor/Regulator on the Rail itself? Trying to locate it and I think I caught i glimpse of it when you were showing the rail but not to sure anything helps Thanks

I believe the regulator is part of the fuel pump assembly. The high pressure pump is driven off a cam lobe and is in series with the fuel rails.

So the sensor should be part of that high pressure pump.

There’s high pressure sensor on the fuel rail also. I believe that pump also had a sensor on it. But I could be wrong

Sounds about right, there is a sensor on the pump but I think the one I need is on the rail guess I have to take the intake manifold off

Carbon build on the valve?.

Yes I had to clean them as well since this is a direct injection engine.
