It is possible to get at the drivers side low beam this way, but trust me it's not worth the effort and frustration you'll encounter trying it this way, space is way too small and there is a fixed bracket directly behind the bulb making it almost impossible to get your hand in to twist and back out the bulb, if you do get the bulb out somehow you're almost guaranteed to damage the new bulb trying to put it in. So the longer way of dropping the bumper is the faster easier way unfortunately, I tried, I failed, I learned. It's just one of those things ya know!! What are you gonna do.

adonisman808 I agree that this method although slightly quicker did have problems with space. When I did the passenger side I pulled the bumper and although it’s a little longer it is easier. Also I think the drivers side was doable because I had a lift. Without one it’s definitely difficult and you may be better off just pulling the bumper.

King Muse these are just the stock headlights that came on the car. We replaced the low beam bulb with a stock H11 bulb.

Can't tell anything much as to what you're doing man.... you could be in the trunk for all anyone knows! In other words, all you're showing is the top of the screws basically, until you show up in going to the back of the headlamp when you point out the wires going to the bulb socket! IDK, It Chevy's damn fault for designing this total BS! What should take literally 3 minutes for some now takes a damn hour and a handful of tools, but I'll be damned if I'll pay nearly $175 to let Chevy change a single headlight bulb, totally designed this way on purpose! Screw the greedy designers at Chevrolet!

Lard good to know. I’ve never done the passenger side. If I ever do I’ll make another video detailing the right way if this isn’t possible.

Unfortunately the space is the size of your hand. And I’ve done this a few times now and without a lift it may be more difficult than I thought. The original method of pulling the bumper and light doesn’t take that much longer to complete.
