P.B Blaster (Rust Remover) www.pbblaster.com
Step 1: Remove tire
Step 2: Spray down all of the nuts/bolts that will be removed with P.B Blaster or other comparable product.
Step 3: Remove brake line/ABS bracket
Step 4: Remove ABS line push clip from bracket
Step 5: Loosen ABS bolt and remove ABS censor. Gently place ABS censor out of the way.
Step 6: Remove upper sway bar link *only*.
Step 7: Loosen lower strut mount nuts. Leaving nuts on last few threads for taping the bolts loose.
Step 8: Tap nuts & bolts with rubber mallet to push out bolts and remove.
Step 9: Remove upper mount bolts located under hood. *Note: brace strut assembly with one hand while removing the last upper mount nut.*
Step 10: Remove strut assembly.

I just finished this on a 2012 Avenger. Took me a little under an hour for each side. You'll need metric sockets and wrenches. Sizes 13, 14, 15, and 21. You also need a torx T30 screwdriver for the sway bar link. I didn't have an impact gun, but was able to get everything loose with a breaker bar. I didn't have to remove the rotor or abs sensor, I was able to work around them.

FYI....there is no reason to remove the ABS sensor wire or any of the brake parts...made a whole lot more work for yourself

why removing the abs sensor, and the disk? don't the strut have enough place to be removed
