I wonder if its originally from Canada? Only because the speedo reads in K/ph, with the MPH on the inside of the gauge. Usually in the USA its the other way round.

Interesting. It looks like other than localizing the gauges and interface. They didn't even modify anything. Does Russia recognize north american lighting standards on new cars? Sadly we don't use ece vehicle standards like everyone else here in the US, and Canada as well.

I know it does. I just don't understand why it uses the US market headlights with retro reflectors which is puzzling as the us / Canada headlight beam pattern is much different so they have to create a whole new headlight but they still put in retro reflectors, and it doesn't look like it has the European side markers / turn signals. Unless the mirror mounted turn signals count.

actually the fifth generation explorer is built in three countries: Chicago, Illinois,USA, Valencia,Venezuela and Yelabuga,Tatarstan,Russia.actually it is very interesting because made in noth america, south america and russia, it's a very reliable and off-road capabilities SUV, i know this because a have a 2012 limited explorer

Russia is NOT Europe...we have nothing in comune... Europeans don`t buy this type of cars.
