GT in Australia is synonymous with one and only one model, and that's the legendary Ford GT, so long as it remains hand built in Australia!!!

The new XR8 has all this + R-Spec package for $51,990 Drive away !! should be able to pick up one of these GT's for around $25K - $30K tops ! Can't wait !!

The S/C on the GT is purely torque based, not KW. It allows a smoother progression in torque, not higher torque. If you want something to cry about, go up against a GT with the S/C set up for power gain, not torque progression. ;)

They need to bring this to the states. As a performance sedan with a V8 option I think it would do well in the market of performance V8 sedans.

Yea. Id even be happy with a Taurus converted up as RWD with the same blown motor in it and performance suspension upgrades.

people usually complain they are`nt noisey enough in the cabin, a lot of blokes disconnect the bi model, sensitive camera`s pick up more noise.

I would like a renewed version of the Lincoln LS. To my taste was the best looking sedan Ford has produced. But it was slow. It had 50/50 weight distribution, it was a great handling car, but powerless.

@pdrivetv Great review...Now if you could get your hands on a GT R-Spec that would be awesome. I read( wheels Mag) that it runs a 12.6 straight from the factory......That would make it Australia fastest EVER production car.......Quicker then theW427 nooooo ....You need to do a review & tell us.

Can't tell if extreme fanboyism from Holden fans, or extreme rectal soreness that their over priced piece of junk can't keep up with the Inline 6 Turbo. Pro tip - its called Chevy badges, extra 50kw's per badge.

Yeah but they don't come out standard with a S/C do they! Put an extra 1.2lt capacity on to the Miami engine to match your hypothetical and an R8 or GTS will need alot more than a 2300l s/c to match the power output of the FPV, you don't have much of an idea do you lol! Ahhh you drive a Holden, nuf said (feeds troll).

Ferrari's and Lambo's are too expensive and useless everyday cars. Muscle cars provide a great car for everyday cruising down the highway and they sound brutal. Plus their price doesn't scare you so much that you'll regret buying one. GO MUSCLE CARS MATE!
