The timing chain is a safety recall, my qx56 had it done for free at our local dealership. It's been 40k miles since our chain was replaced and no issues out our qx56. So which ever qx56 you are thinking of buying call you local dealership with the trucks VIN, or look it up online to make sure the repair is covered for your vehicle.

Just bought a 2011 QX56 exact same color you have inside an out. Got it for 11200 cause the dealer was desperate to make a sale. Just got the airbag recall done at the dealership but it's giving the catalyst code p0420 or 0430 so they are saying to replace both catalytic converters at 5k. Cannot afford that but I talked to other mechanics and they said it's most definitely the O2 sensors if not two but probably 1 of them going bad. What do you think? And thanks for the tip on the timing chain I need to look into the recall issue.
@KayDroTechnologies4 жыл бұрын
The catalytic converters do go out on these... it's a known issue. My qx56 luckily had them replaced under warranty at the same time they did the timing chain... so see if your dealership will do that for you.

@@KayDroTechnologies Yeah, they said no. I even called the Infiniti headquarters and gave a piece of my mind.
