I'm trying to install one of the new FLRSBA units and this video seems to be basically the same thing so thank you for posting it! Question though, the FlashLogic install guide shows wiring for "hood switch", "lights off", "parking lights", and "horn." The T-harness for my car doesn't include those, so it looks like I would need to use the wires that came with the FLRSBA and find where to connect them (and them probably just crimp them together). But what exactly do those features do? Are they needed to maintain functioning of OEM security system (that use the horn when triggered)? And what's the hood switch for? Would rather skip these if not needed.

IMP3TIGO not needed. Your vehichle already has the needed electronics to control your horn and lights with the key fob receiver. The module will send all signals needed to make it honk and flash when starting Mine had diagrams and other wires for vehichles who don't have it.

IMP3TIGO hood switch is safety features on some vehicles that wont let it go in gear or give you s light when hood is open

Thank you! The flashlogic manual for my 2010 civic shows those wires but they don't actually add any functionality? Would be great to skipthem as it would make it a 15 min installation (Car Toys gave me a 3-5 hours install estimate lol)!

My paper shows them as well but its a generic photo that can be spliced and used on over 1000 vehichles

IMP3TIGO and a way if you're worried to check if you did need it. Like you seen its a simple 1 wire harness you unplug. Unplug from ignition, plug up the module and test it . you will see the lights flash and horn honk. If it doesn't and you want it too then unhook it, plug your original ignition back up. Then figure out your game plan on wiring those up and do it when you have time
