Any mercedes garage. You usually are supposed to bring your Mercedes once a year for a check-up. As for repair - new cars have warranty and even for older cars Mercedes often takes over a part of repair bills if it's a problem you're not directly responsible for.

I wonder how lane keeping assist operates in the event of an emergence maneuver. For example, having to change lanes in order to avoid an obstacle without having time to activate the turn indicator.

this is incredible innovative technology, truly. however i must ask what the effectiveness of the technology working in relation to motorbikes or push bikes? i'm going to make an assumption and say many drivers may rely on some of the safety features, in particular the blind spot assist for motorbikes and the cruse control for push bikes that are on the edge of a road

I think you'll find no one invented these features before anyone. They have been evolved similarly but no one copied anyone else, inspiration at the very most lead to these systems being the same. Every car manufacturer is in the same boat. Volvo and Mercedes... Both very good cars to purchase so shut up everyone!

I have a 2012 c350 sport sedan and I have most of these features. Though I think I have the passive versions of these active assists. I can say they're helpful but I've never figured out how the attention assist works, the coffee cup would be there as soon as I turn on the engine... Rendering it useless

fantastic work, safety is number one. I recon those features should be standard on every vehicle and not looked at as luxury item or optional. at one stage Volvo set the standard on safety and Mercedes was shadowing Volvo, Now Mercedes Technology and cost reduction in the mass production leaps forward by years ahead of the rest. i wonder if Hyundai cashes in. . . .interesting competition

Interesting observation: they didn't make it to AVOID the collision completely, but just to REDUCE the impact! Obviously, car maker would never mean to produce an invincible car but rather would sell their expensive bumper/frontgrill/radiator or the whole new car to the survived consumer!

If you try to use more brake then needed and the car behind is closing it will take away brake to give the car behind you more time....Thats great unless there is snow on the road ahead..... now the crash is your fault not the car behind you

There is such systems, one is for repeat DUI offenders, where a system similar to a breathalyser checks whether they have been drinking or not. If they have been drinking the car fails to start, until their lung alcohol levels are below the threshold! The eye sensor which is used to detect dilated pupils, works for tiredness, alcoholism, and other drugs in the same way, it will tell you to take a nap!

It's not distracting at all. Mercedes cars these days do almost all automatically. The car does all the work, you only get warned if you need to be warned.
