It seemed to be more of a first-half issue. They really clamped down defensively in the second half of the championship game and the superbowl. The Ravens offense only scored 6 points in the second half of the superbowl, and the 49ers probably win that game if they didn't allow that kickoff td.

You can let that one go. The NFL wrote a script for that game. They wanted Lewis to get that SB win since it was hos last year. At the end, diring the intentional safery, the announcer is going nuts, saying the Niners weren't trying to get to the punter. But you can clearly see multiple Niners being held from behind as they pulled defenders towards the punter. No flags on some of the most blatant fouls in NFL history. The refs let Baltimore get away with murder the whole game, but when I saw that, I knew the fix was in.

I remember watching this game and thinking after works that this has to be the worst loss in the Atlanta Falcons franchise... even worse when they went to Super Bowl back in 98 and losing to the Broncos I believe because nobody expect them to win the Super Bowl and the reason they made it is because Gary Anderson missed that field goal in the 98 NFC Championship Game.... the Falcons that year had a awesome massive powerful offense... even myself as a 49er fan felt like there was a little doubts especially when they went 17 up so I thought Atlanta Falcons can't have any other worst loss then this and then they went to the Super Bowl couple years later against the Patriots and basically hand them the Vince Lombardi Trophy while they were up 28 to 3.... and ever since that lost in the Super Bowl the Falcons have never been the same and I always believed there are games where a team gets a devastating loss let the following year or even years later the team has losing seasons we have seen it time and time again throughout the years of the NFL.... they blamed offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan for that loss against the Patriots

What a great win, one of my all time favorites as a Niner fan. It’s too bad they couldn’t beat the Ravens because they had the better team. Flacco was hot though and carved up our defense. We had no answers for Flacco.
@redriderbbgun8018Ай бұрын
In those years the 49ers defense always needed a quarter and a half to get their bearings. They always bowed-up in the second half.

Miss you Kap! Still would be better than half the QBs in the NFL if you were allowed to play. Still a terribly run NFL business.

Kaep got all the blame for the steep drop-off the 9ers went through. His coach, OLine, most of the defense and every decent receiving target but one (Bolden) left and Kaep had nothing to work with. A really talented guy who got a raw deal by the NFL.
@keyshawnbess572 Жыл бұрын
He was only good for one year because defenses weren’t ready for the read option he was a one trick pony and as soon as teams figured him out he was benched and had to raise his voice about racism to stay relevant.

@1:54:24 , it’s funny how it was a no call on that play when there was obvious contact, this stopped the falcons who had a chance to play in the saints stadium, who is their divisional rivalry, now fast forward to 2018 and the refs screwed over the saints against the rams with a chance for the saints to play in the falcons stadium in the super bowl,🤔 that sounds pretty sketchy to me that two pass interferences weren’t called, and just to make it more weird, the falcons were the #1 seed and the 49ers were #2, in 2018 the saints were #1 seed and rams were #2 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔, then the 49ers and rams are both California teams 😲 😲😲😲😲😲 NFL is definitely scripted .......and Jim barbough was in his 2nd year coaching the 49ers and Sean mcvay was in his 2nd year with rams

Basketball refs always push to get a game 7 for the money. that makes sense. Im a skins fan and I hear our fanbase saying some wild stuff like this all the time. Truth is the refs sometimes screw up but ya team screwed up worse. Its not a conspiracy to screw one team over they just flat out miss calls at times

shoulderpads don't have to be 90s big, but just make them as big as 2012 era, it would cut down on some of the head injuries and penalties, small shoulderpads cause more helmet contact
