I just bought the same one but in silver for my first car for 2k. It has 130k miles and its in good condition, it was cheap because its crashed on the left fender and door and its scraped on both bumbers but other than that it drives very good and everything electronically works :)

Just traded in my 2001 Toyota Corolla for a 2012 scion TC with 85k miles on it for 7500$. I’m super happy with my “upgrade” 🤘🏽 dope sporty looking ride that’s reliable and fuel efficient Edit : 2.21.24 Someone hit me. I got cashed out and I upgraded to a C Class Mercedes back in January 😂 TC was going strong though! Gonna miss her. RIP Tabby🪦 🚗

Only problem is blind spots are terrible when backing them up. I have a 2015 and to back up is worst thing. Other then that its a great car!

made a few mistakes id like to correct: first this car is pretty heavy weights upwards of 3000-3200 pounds givin the 180 hp, and its a 2.5 L maybe for the auto the gas is much better but me i live on hills and often like to have fun i get around 20 mpg but keep in mind i have TRD mods done to mine and have 175,000 miles thanks!

@@spidey3448 Well actually, Toyota issued a technical service bulletin (TSB) about the defect, which read, “Some 2006-2011 model year vehicles equipped with the 2AZ-FE engine may exhibit engine oil consumption. That's the 2.4 liter engine the put in they first generation Scion. I owned that engine in my 2003 Camry, I put 306,000 on it before it died.

Is it me or does shifting have a delay during 3,4 gears notice it pulls gear slowly I got 2011 when car warms up drives longer shifting gets better smoother

You can do 2012 or if you really wanna save money you can do 2011 depending on if you only like the 2011-2014 models

Need advice anyone please??? I can't decide between a 2012 Scion Tc auto, 120k miles or a 2012 Honda Civic LX w Manual Transmission, 88k miles. I like the idea of a Honda with lower mileage even though it's slow and not sporty look. The Tc is faster as far as hp goes and looks better than the Civic LX but the 2 doors might make car insurance higher. I just want a fun daily, driver car and yes, I considered a Civic Si but they're out of my budget and most are high mileage or heavily modded. Let me know your thoughts??? Thx

This review is very amateur man. You should really read up on a car before reviewing it. You didn't really go in depth with anything. Yeah it's got windows and a fuel door, we know lol
