Been waiting for a seat ibiza front shock tutorial for ages, thanks very much for making this video, ANY & ALL seat ibiza tutorials are MASSIVELY appreciated mate (as there are hardly any) 1 question, why didnt you need to secure the coil spring before you removed the top bolt??? i imagine there are 2 bolts at the top? 1 for the strut mount and the other 21mm bolt under the bonnet?

That's correct two nuts, one for the cap another for the mount

Very nice video, my '13 seat ibiza is making a clunking sound when turning sharply. I guess it's the strut mount bearing that's worn out.

Hello, is it necesary to remoove the hub nut and brake sistem or you can remove the shock absorber without getting that apart?

You can just take the bolt off going through the hub which means you have to separate the hub from the Shocker.

I dont take the actual sensor off just take the wiring plug off that's it.
