2012 Suburban Tire Pressure Monitor & Keyless Entry Not Working

2012 Suburban had no communication to Tire Pressure Monitor or Keyless Entry Module.
Tag: 2012 Suburban Tahoe blown DSM fuse.

Yep had both issues at the same time on my 2011 Suburban ("Service tire monitor system" and keyless entry stopped working). I unplugged my module. Turned engine on and off. Cleaned module and harness connectors with electronic cleaner spray. Plugged back in. Turned engine back on. All works again. Don't know if the step of turning engine on & off accomplished anything, but that's what i did.

I have a pontiac solstice 2008 and have the same integrated TPMS/Keyless Entry Module. Mine I think is located behind the drivers seat. The issue I am having is the bcm a long time ago got wet. It is the passenger footwell of the firewall. This was due to the convertible top back window coming loose. I got a new convertible top to repair it. I just found out recently that the keyless entry remotes where not working. I had someone a long time ago program the bcm with a snap on tool and the car starts and functions. He also fixed the keyless entry remotes and they work for the trunk and door lock/unlock. The issue I have now is after the keys where reprogrammed the TPMS light showed up on the dash. I have had two different places check the TPMS tire sensors and they are good and could read them. They also tried to rejoin the sensors to the car. I am guessing that the module is either bad or it needs reprogrammed to the bcm? I know that the snap on and other aftermarket bidirectional scanners will not program this module. Do you have to buy a new TPMS/keyless entry module for reprogram or can I use the same existing one? I am looking at buying a acdelco MDI programmer. and getting the tech2win or SPS2 online. Do you know which section of AC Delco TDS I need to purchase and how to program the TPMS/Keyless Entry module back to the car? The only thing the dash does is display the TPMS light and give dashes for the tire pressures.

​@@altonhernandez9981​I fixed my issue if yours has the TPMS light on. Yours may be a simple issue or a little bigger issue. I would first have someone check the tire sensors with a reader to make sure that the batteries are not dead in the tire pressure sensors. The reader will tell them the tire pressure of each tire if the batteries are good. The other thing is if the sensors need to be rejoined to the TPMS module then they can pair them up with the reader to the module. Most tire shops will have that and more then likely would do it for free or a small fee. I had mine rejoined at the shop and they would act like they would pair with the module but they wouldn't. My tire sensors were good. This wasn't the issue on mine. The TPMS/RCDLR module was bad and had to be replaced. This one module is for TPMS sensors and keyfob remotes. The keyfob clickers on my car would work even thought the TPMS light was on. I replaced the module it is behind the driver seat above your head behind the plastic cover other Pontiac/GM brands could be located some place else. Someone had a video on how to remove the covers on you tube for my car. After you replace the module then you have to program it to the BCM. You have to get a OBDII programer to interface with the car. You could try a VCXNANO but I was having issues with that one. I got a Opus mongoose-plus OBDII pass thru cable to USB. I also bought a cheap tire TPMS relearn tool on amazon. This is the one I bought FORSCAN tpms relearn Tool U508 Universal for GM Jeep and Ford Chrysler & Dodge Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Reset Activation Tool 2021 Edition. You will need a laptop and you have to get a subscription for SPS2 programming which is $45 and and a TECH2WIN software which is $62. This is the website for the software www.acdelcotds.com/subscriptions# You have a limited amount of time to use the TECH2WIN says 3 days and the SPS2 says 24Months on the site. I didn't need it that long took a day or two for me to fix. This fixed my issue but it took a little while the first time to learn how to program it to the bcm. I finally got mine working after the programing the TPMS sensors and remotes to the new RCDLR module. The TPMS light went out. Then my tire pressures would read on my dash and the dash symbols went away. The last issue it could be is a wiring issue luckily. I didn't have that issue. If it is a wiring issue then you are going to have to check all the wiring from the BCM to the module. You would have to get the wiring diagram if that is the issue from alldata or another subscription site. The other thing I would check is for fuses but different models probably have different fuse locations.

Even if your fuse is blown can you still open and close the door using the control by the driver side door ? I have a 2020 Rav4 and I'm unable to open or close the doors. Sometimes I have to press the key fob 6-7 times to get it to work or do it manually to open and close it. The Trunk door also doesn't open with the key fob. I already replaced batteries on the key fob and my 12v battery is 86 SOC. Any other idea what else can it be ?

Simply repaired the broken wire then cut a small slit with my hot knife through the seat fabric to ziptie the wires out of the way of the pivot point.

I got that issue with my Silverado replaced the module but never the fuse so it should come up as Dsm fuse ?
