2012 Toyota Sienna - Sway Bar Bushing

Hey Everyone!
Today I'm fixing the sway bar bushing (otherwise known as stabilizer bar bushing) on my 2012 Toyota Sienna.
Honesty this is a simple repair. I thought I was going to have to replace parts but didn't have to after all! Weird that bolts can just loosen but it just goes to show you should take a look at things. It saves so much money fixing the things you have.

You just posted a video on replacing sway bar bushings and then didn't replace sway bar bushings. Change the name of the video to "Babble, spray your bolts with WD and then tighten them,"

My sienna 2011 passenger side tire moves and sound weird when i hit and release the brakes could be lower arms?

Hey, Without seeing your van, that sounds like a sway bar link or strut. If you can safely check under your car and see if anything is loose maybe you'll get a better idea

What is the part number for sway bar bushing? Where did you get from? Auto Advanced or AutoZone?

Hey Randy Hansana Bouatick, I live in Canada and usually get my parts from Napa, Parts Source or Amazon. These bushings are pretty easy to find. Just type in 2012 Sienna Swaybar Bushing and you'll find what you're looking for. They range in price from $20 to $50 per pair. The higher range will try to convince you that they have a better quality rubber but you'll be fine with an OEM replacement for $20. Hope that helps Take Care :)

Did it feel like your tire was bouncing before you changed it?

Hey Coleman, If I could describe what I was feeling it would be like a shutter when going over road bumps. Almost sounded like a popping/thumping sound. It only happened when I hit pot holes or other bumps. Outside of that it didn't make any noise when I was turning, stopping, or driving on smooth roads. I encourage you to go check it and see if it has any movement. I was able check it without jacking up the car. I hope that helps Take Care :)
