2012 VW Jetta SE Windshield Washer Pump Fuse Location

Here's a short video of where to find the fuse for the windshield washer pump in a 2012 VW Jetta.
Check the obvious and make sure the nozzles are not frozen and there is fluid in the reservoir prior to checking the fuse. A giveaway that it can be the fuse is the wipers will ALSO not work when trying to activate windshield wash.

Thank you so much. My wife's fluid reservoir was filed with, what I thought was, sub-zero green windscreen bug cleaner. Oh No! it was frozen solid, and VW protected the windscreen fluid pump from frozen fluid by blowing this simple 7.5A fuse. The only way we knew something was wrong, was that when she pulled the leaver to activate the washer fluid the car usually would run the wipers for 2 or 3 cycles. When this fuse has blown the car does nothing (absolutely nothing) when you pull the leaver to activate the washer fluid. You video is a time saver. Thanks again. TDI Love from Chicago

hahaha am i seriously your only view? LOL no gonna lie you just made my day. I've been diagnosing my issue all morning. I found several fuse diagrams but none for my exact model. I had actually resorted to pulling out fuses and checking them for about an hour when I took one last stab at it and pop here is your video. just tried this on my 2011 VW Jetta SE and it's correct. I pulled out the fuse with tweezers and sure enough, it's blown. Now it's time for a NAPA run for a new fuse! Thank you!

If your pump works, it won't be the fuse shown in the video. Most likely a different fuse, hopefully.
