Streetfighter build on my 2012 R1
-Healtech quickshifter
-Healtech speedohealer
-Plastics painted by Phil at A1 motorcycle repairs, Nerang, QLD
-CNC machined top triple clamp from Mat at Topyokes.uk
-Lower triple clamp painted in place
-Hide wiring, ECU in Airbox, VR behind front screen
-Buell XB12s headlight & front screen
-Protaper Bars
-MGP growler mufflers
-Polished exhaust
-Ignition moved to behind front screen
-"Frankenbracket" made to hold lights, Ignition, screen, dash, horn, VR
-16 tooth front sprocket
-extended length braided front brake lines
-bar end mirrors
-flip steering damper to make room for lights
-Rad guard

Not sure exactly what you mean by change the steering . But the top triple clamp is from “topyokes” in the UK . That top triple clamp has the risers to hold dirt bike bars

Really nice job! It looks AMAZING ! What kind of paint or treatment did you apply to the exhaust pipes after sand them to look like that ?

He just wet sanded them to a high grit finish, then metal polished them and let the engine heat do the work! R1 headers are titanium from factory so they colour up nicely. The shinier the metal the better/more vibrant the colours will be when heated etc.

*Very Important Question* What is everyone's personal opinions on a streetfighter with the front forks extended - just a little extended to offer more ground clearance and possible a different riding experience altogether? Like I love the streetfighter feel but I'm not one for the bent over aggressive stance - I want the option for aggressive maneuvering and body position but a neutral upright seating position for casual riding

That’s why I have the high bars on the front , no need to raise front forks , that won’t work... keep same geometry but add high bars , it’s the best way to go 💪

Around $15,000 AUD all up , took me 10 weeks or so , video doesn’t show The work required but it was a big job , more than1.5 minutes of video haha !

Bro... to many to count , way more than the video shows , hiding wiring, extending wirings , shortening wiring , building the front bracket , maybe 2 months . But 100% worth it , I’ve never ridden anything like it & will never sell it , absolute beast 😁

you can re-route the throttle cables & clutch cable easy, you do need longer front brake lines, i got a kit from Topyokes.UK that came with new top triple clamp & brake lines, cheers for looking mate !

no i had to make the whole bracket, took a few days, i bought the fork clamps off ebay then built the bracket out of flat bar & welded it all up. Was a tricky job as had to make bracket hold lights, screen, ignition, voltage reg, horn, speedo & also clear the steering damper ! if you pause at 1:05 you can see my bracket holding everything just without the screen mounted

I just don't get why you would do that on THIS particular bike... Its makes no sense. I couldn't watch the over dramatic hoo hoo myself but I didn't see any real fabrication going on and that (to me) is what sets the boys from the men. I'm not trying to talk up myself here - although it will inevitably be perceived this way but I do sportbike fab work. Frame (6000 series AU) ABS plastic fab - whatever is needed. And as far as I can find - I'm the ONLY guy doing it. I'm very interested in someone else who's doing genuine fabrication work. I saw a guy who put a 2015 R1 motor in a 98 frame - that's where I'm at... But beyond that I've seen nothing.
