Hello, thank you for the detailed video! Can you recommend an alternative silicone paste, I can't find that brand. Is this the same as the little dielectric grease packets for changing your battery?

dude I have a question about my kia soul 1.6L, I messed up. So I was trying to do the timing chain cause it has 251,000 miles on it and it seems rather loose, and I thought I had it top dead center but I was utterly wrong, can I independently turn the lobes into the positions indicated in the service manual and then turn the crank and find the compression stroke on cyl 1 and that should be good then?

How did you find the hose with the connectors? I see the hose on Amazon but not the connector

Ugh wish I could just pay you to replace the jumper coolant hose on my dodge dart. Everytime I have to repair something on this car I'm reminded of how much I hate dodge and newer cars because there is no room to repair things without taking everything out first. I'm leaking right where the plastic and rubber meet on my hose. I wanna do it myself but I'm not feeling it. For one hose, there is so much to do. This video is great btw, and I'm saving it for later in case I develop the courage to do this or just let my car burn and buy some beater from the late 80s, early 90s.

@s33therfan i really appreciate the vote of confidence. I'm gonna go to a mechanic next week for a quote as a back up in case I'm unable to do it. the issue for me is the location of the hose. I actually saved your whole dodge dart playlist. Super useful and you really take care to explain things and show things and honestly the best ive seen so far for this car. I have to replace my passenger side wheel bearing and also valve cover gasket, which are the next two projects after the heater core jumper hose.

Brake masters charged me 2800 to fix All that on my dart and said it’ll be 7 hours for the labor but I just seen this and now I’m assuming their trying to make money off me
