2013-2018 Focus ST Heater Hose Replacement

This specific Focus ST developed a leak and of course found out it was one of the heater hose. Part number CV6Z-18472-AS. After hose install please don’t forget to add coolant dex-cool.

al vi i used 11” long with 2.5” opening straight and a bent 90 degrees long nose... and regular pliers nothing special tools.

Thanks for posting this video and the part number. My ST recently started leaking and I bought both hoses to replace because I might as well replace the other one while I'm at it. How much coolant came out of the hose when you pulled it off? So I know what to expect when I replace mine.

@@car-lo I actually just got done swapping out both hoses. It wasn't too bad, but one of the grey clamps on the hoses didn't want to come off. So it took me about an hour. Glad it's done and over with😂

yo! we got the same problem. but is this hose come from the left or right? cuz mine was the left hose if u facing infront of the car.and can I have the diameter of the O ring that u pulled from the hose?i was about to put it in the shop and they will charged me $300+? and how many hrs u work on it? i really dont know about cars but if it just a basic repair i could do those stuffs lol.

Lanskie Lanz facing it, it is the left one. The o-ring Is a special size. The dealer sells the whole piece, it is for peace of mind to replace the whole thing. I haven’t located anyone selling just the o-ring. Don’t forget to buy a coolant 50/50 for refill.

@@car-lo the hell!ford really greedy AF!i could see ur hose are still good,just that Oring got fckd up.u got ur parts in the ford dealer right?how much was it again? and can u tell me how many bolts u removed so i have an idea. and i assume u drain the coolant first b4 removing that hose? thank u man!
