When you say program, do you just program it to the vin number, or do you install custom software?

We program the radio so the features present in your vehicle are not lost. However, Nissan right now is having major supply issues so this is not available right now. We should be able to resupply these units and start selling them again sometime next year. Sorry about that.

Do all steering wheel controls work with this?

It operates like factory. So I would assume that the steering wheel controls will work. This essentially is just a software update package and a swap-out of the USB media hub.

I have a Nissan Altima Advanced 2018, it has GPS equipped, will it work to upgrade to this feature? I want Apple car but keeping the Nissan original radio style, you know, this one looks just fine for me.

The 2013-2018 Nissan Altima NissanConnect® GPS Navigation Radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is a factory OEM hardware upgrade that features both onboard navigation as well as Apple carplay and Android auto. There are actually two different models of radio that are offered for the 2013-2018 year range. The upgrade that features onboard navigation as well as Apple Carplay and Android auto and then the unit that you currently have that exclusively features onboard navigation.

I have 2018 altima original screen, can i install it on altima 2017 model?

It is difficult to say. There are several part number variations. So it would have to be the correct part number for the vehicle you are installing. Wire harness conversion of some kind would be required as well.

Unfortunately not. We can put the radios from the 16-18 vehicles in that 14 but not the 19-20 radios.

This is an Apple Carplay/Android auto upgrade. If your 2013-2017 Altima is currently equipped with the factory installed GPS navigation you cannot (at this time) upgrade to this product. We are actively working on a solution.

Nah I'm good my Kenwood was 1K cheaper it does everything this does with Superior sound quality plus playing DVDs 🤷‍♂️
