+Gadget Review Yes they have Bentley spec phones for the car you must not have that option in yours man, because mine has one and the phone company they use for one of their options for the car phone is Vertu which is the most expensive option

What a incredible thing it is, to be able to take a 5000lb automobile, and to have a 0-60 mph time of 4 seconds flat ! It may be because i'm getting a little older (early 40's), but to me the combination of power, performance, and the incredibly comfortable interior, with all its creature comforts, make this automobile more attractive to me than a 600 HP sports car. What a beautiful and impressive car this is !

I've read the battery drains rapidly, it'll still run but the no power to radio etc.., and requires an external charger.

everyone has there opinion, thats fine, im talking about this vehicle its been the same shape for ever......with hardly any aerodynamics, this is a heavy heavy car and it probably has one of the smallest rear spoilers ive ever seen just seems a bit stupid from bentley..not a whole lot of tech in this car for the price paid...would prefer a high end lexus anyday...i drive a gs300 and its so comfortable like a lounge in my car...but thats my opinion lol :)

it's for emergency startup. the car has 2 batteries, a starter battery and a convience battery. if the convience battery dies the car can't be started with the button, but with a special percedure the car will start via the ignition slot.

I see you're one of those people who really don't even have the basic understanding of how an engine is developed, or how the engine develops power. This W12 engine could easily produce way over 1200hp, and still be more reliable and longlasting than the one in Chevy, but the power is not the point of it. 616hp is enough. Its about the torque, smoothness and refinement. This engine is designed to offer effortless power, to be fast while not breaking a sweat. Thats something a Chevy V8 cant do.

Nah, that stayed in the UK, After Top Gear took it for a spin, british car magazines like autocar and carbuyer etc took the exact same one for a review. I guess that exact one on Top Gear stayed in the UK. This happens to look the same. :)

Please please please..when you initially start up such vehicles with big engines and nice exhaust notes...the cold start..please let it run longer..like in the beginning of this video..the cold start is the best part..You cut it short..You know what I mean?..I love when the exhaust is maintained a loud level...but your videos are just perfect..love them all even when I don't like the cars.thanks for a great job man.

can't take anymore. thanks anyway. engines are not intended to be revved without load. i cringe when i see it occur and wonder why that "car-person" doesn't know better. sure, the sound system has fantastic sonic qualities; when you're in the car. while watching your vid on a computer it's annoying background noise. it's piAno - you know, the 88 key instrument often finished in smooth ebony.

You are correct.. and surprisingly.. the saloon/sedan.. the Flying Spur is even nicer. Trust me.. go see. { as a sports car owner I NEVER thought I'd say that, but it's true.. the GT is magnificent for what it is.. but.. the FS is truly exceptional.. For my money the best car Bentley make. And that's saying something.] If you can.. go see. I'll have an FS in Verdant Green please with Mulliner trim in.. Linen and Cumberland green. Lovely.. and.. the base price for this model is listed at around $215,000... I'm not sure if that's the price for the vehicle shown in this review, as it may have some extras. Not that I can come close to affording such a hefty price, but to me in comparison to some other "super cars", and considering the quality of what of you're purchasing, I cannot help but to think it's a reasonable price tag.

Great review. I got only 1 comment with it. The left keyhole is only used when your 1st battery is empty. Because with the keyhole you will use it 2nd battery. And to use it you need to open the car with the key. Or else you wont be able to use it. Bentley owner.

a lot of cars do that, the idle picks up for a moment and then settles down.. its just more noticeable on these cars because its a louder sound.. and some cars; lamborghini, ferrari, aston martin, etc when you start them they kind of rev a slight bit so that the sound is noticeable and appealing

How is it possible to be more reliable than an LS block? Last time I heard British cars were at the bottom of reliability scales. Just because its a Bentley doesn't mean it can't take criticism, and if they want to call it "Speed" then make it have the 800hp it can easily have.

Honestly, if I could afford this Bentley, I would get rid of those rims because, in my opinion, don´t fit the stream lines of this car. They designed this vehicle to be not only fast but also luxurious, but those rims don´t give it the sensation of speed.

Bentley is no longer British. Volkswagen Group has owned Bentley for quite some time now and developed the Continental GT from the ground up. The W12 is also a VW Group engine and is among some of the most advanced and robust engines around.

I do not think that after spending 200,000 Euros the problem is 1000 for airbags..I think for a reason to pregnant women or strollers to limit damages in cases of slight accident

How do they only get 616HP out of DOHC 6 Litre W12 with Direct Injection and two Turbos pushing 28 psi??? Chevy gets more out of a pushrod V8 with a supercharger strapped to it in the ZR1.

The wheels/tires are too big. And in the higher ride height setting, it reminds me of the AMC Eagle Wagon/SX4. Lower profile tires would make it look much better.
