There is a company that upgrades the centre console and infotainment system. It's not cheap and does have downsides with loss of some the existing functions. Still, it's an option - not one I've plumpt for, as I prefer to keep everything stock. Yes, it will put some people off buying it in the future. Hey ho. Great video, Matt. Thanks for sharing.

@@zsb707 The Honda will be as reliable as time, the Bentley will bankrupt you in repairs. You can use the Jazz as a practical everyday car for commuting, shopping and the general rough and tumble of motoring life. You won't want to leave your Bentley on a rough council estate at night. The Jazz is reasonably frugal whereas the Bentley will drain your wallet on a weekly basis. Tyres for the Jazz will cost you about £70 per corner, decent tyres for the Bentley will set you back 500 quid each. Around town the Jazz is zippy and nimble, the Bentley is cumbersome and slow. There's a Honda garage in most towns. There are probably half a dozen Bentley dealers in the UK. Selling the Jazz wont be a problem because there's a huge demand for small reliable family cars. Selling the Bentley will take time because the market for large expensive status symbols is tiny. The Jazz is virtually invisible to the police, car thieves and boy racers, not so for the Bentley. You probably wont need a ten year loan to buy a Jazz, buying a Bentley will cripple you with interest. Looking at all that I'd say the Honda is far superior. Yeah the Bentley is faster but so what?

Many times,fuel consumption is stated as the critical factor when buying a car .So you buy a boring eurobox which does 0-60 in 10 seconds,does 35 mpg(hurrah) but depreciates by 30 percent in the first year.You would really be 'better off' by buying an older prestige car and let the previous owners absorb the depreciation.Just make sure you budget for expensive tires and servicing (my last main service and full check on my 6 year old XJL was £145 at an independent and tires are around £180 each).Just to put the icing on the cake its 3 litre v6 turbo diesel does around 36 mpg.Point made!!

What I really came here to ask is regarding the MPG figures, is that Imperial miles/gallons? I guess it's not that huge of a difference but just to beat the fuel economy jokes going I really want to know if that 11 MPG is 21 or 25 l/100 Km

Great video Matt. When they brought out this model they did a press launch at the Monteblanco race track, just to the west of Seville, and I got driven round the circuit by one of their drivers. A fantastic experience even though I was't actually driving it. My understanding is that the weight reduction is due to an all aluminium body. If only I could afford one!

When my E38 7 Series got old I upgraded the infotainment system with an identical looking Android unit that wired into the steering wheel buttons. I'm sure these will be available for the Bentley, too, to bring the tech up to date without affecting the look. You can always store the original in case the next owner is a purist.

Before this review I was thinking why would you sacrifice luxury if you're buying a Bentley. Now i would highly consider one if I was in the market although I still a 4 door flying spur. 550bhp is still alot of power and remap them you make about 680bhp

had one and it's everything mentioned and more. I used mine when I worked in Europe buying and selling horses. 25mpg on their good well maintained roads. I didn't' meet anyone that didn't like it. Other than french traffic police (their fines don't count right😬). Plus people knew you weren't there to waste their time when out buying. Down side, parts cost. Example rear lights, they only last 10 years. They are modular, no bulbs other than indicator and cost 2.5 K +vat each. You can get 2nd hand, but the modules will go at some point. Electrics are also suspect now as they are getting on a bit. Battery drain is a problem if not used every day. You can buy a replacement updated infotainment around about 3 K fitted, but it looks cheap and tacky all flashy lights and cheap looking plastic. I am definitely going to get another supersports. Unfortunately not yet as I am saving for a better house in the country right now and they are 'quite' expensive to buy outright.🙄

Would be a outstanding way to travel. So, £50 per month road tax, 5000 miles per year @ 15mpg @ 1.55 per litre is £200 per month and then £250 per month set aside for £3000 per annum servicing. Just find a decent independent specialist. So £6000 per annum on top of purchase cost. That's a lot of £s BUT Audi e-tron GT is £1000 per month to lease or £12k per annum. The Audi is not as plush, has bloody cameras rather than door mirrors, makes no enjoyable sound and has limited range. The Bentley is a true Grand Tourer. You could cross Europe at easily 600 miles per day in comfort. In the Audi you'd be searching for a working charger.
