Thank you! This does work. Just do exactly how he demonstrated. Hit the ignition button once, but do not start the engine. If u start the engine & try this, the test option menu will pop up instead of the reset options.

Yep! That is a good way to make sure your check engine light is working, it will briefly illuminate when the vehicle is turned to the on position. If you are ever looking at an used vehicle you can do this to make sure the lights hasn't been removed or disabled. Please like and subscribe so I can continue making helpful videos!

I would just try going through the procedure again, the BMWs have one of the trickiest reset procedures.
