Incase you were wondering, that occasional tick tick tick sound was the indicators.

Love this car, it sounds great. And prices now (2024) are worth considering for < 50k miles up

How reliable is the engine of this version please?
@BarrieCrampton3 жыл бұрын
3 litre is a good engine
@autogsport68153 жыл бұрын
@@BarrieCrampton so please is it to say overall the 3 litre is a reliable car without the problematic reputation of bmw?
@alexecristian9372 жыл бұрын
The 3l is more reliable than the 2l. The facelift is even better because they sorted previous problems. Overall it's an expensive car to maintain. Premium repair costs just like the premium sticker price when bought new. If you are the type of person who worries about what could go wrong and not making much money, the stress will outweigh the excitement over time.

Except they never did 6 series with a 2 litre engine.

That driving position is going to kill you. You lose control at any point and you are not going to have the control authority to recover.

Nope, I’m comfortable, safe, and i don’t lose control

Mine cost me double what a similar age Volvo 2 litre diesel cost me to insure - surprisingly expensive to insure I guess due to the power and maybe they get nicked more?
