You should've added boost/blower cam/fuel system, Radiator/Cooling System/Dyno tune for $10k. My boost build was about $11k and change, and I netted over 650 hp on my LS3. No need to swap intake or heads with an LS3, save cash there.

you should gravity bleed the clutch, takes like 15 mins and gets all the new fluid through your system. Changing fluid in your resevoir will only do so much
@greg12m36 жыл бұрын
Danny Dang do you know where the bleeder screw is for a c5/c6 vette?
@greg12m36 жыл бұрын
Because its not possible to gravity bleed them or bleed them in general without removing the torque tube which means the transmission needs to come off which means the diff needs to come out which means the rear subframe needs to come down. The ranger method which is what he attempted to do is pretty effective for getting the shit fluid out.

My 2012 GS C6 is an automatic, but our cars are pretty much the same, until you installed your cam. I recently had mine updated to American Racing 1 7/8" long tube headers and high flow cats, and then tuned -- and got 32 RWHP to 397, without any CAI install (it is stock). I won't be putting a CAI on due to wanting less dirt sucked into the engine -- I don't track it, so I don't care about a .4 of a sec or less difference. Next will be a cam and maybe head work, but deciding on a cam takes a lot of pondering... do I want torque or high-end HP, when the engine 'lives' at 1500-2000 RPMs on the interstate? Appreciate your posts, enjoy you spending money and letting us know, so I don't have to dive in and decide it was a mistake on something I thought I'd like to do... lol. And then there is always a roots blower, which, requires a different cam... oh, decisions, decisions...

I have a vette bro and don’t believe people when they say stuff doesn’t matter it all adds up. 10 , 20 here. Between some ported heads , Mamo ported fasst intake and a e85 flex fuel system and a ported throttle body you left 50-60 whp on the table and if you went up 1 point on your compression that’s another 10-15 whp. It all adds up when staying n/a and it’s not the peak so much but under the curve that will make you perform better than the peak numbers say and beat cars that are boost with mike power.

FYI RP, you need to do that clutch fluid swap several times in a row at the same time. Pausing in between swaps to work the clutch. I would pump the clutch 50 times in between each swap. I would do the swap in one sitting 3-4 times to cycle out the black fluid to get it to come clear once you work the clutch. Doing it one time is not doing anything.
