2013 DODGE CHARGER R/T CAMERA NOT DISPLAYING FIXED EASILY

Thank you! Glad I decided to do more research. I will try this tomorrow. Not looking to spend almost $200 for a diagnosis without troubleshooting. But I did go to O'Reilly's and told them I thought it was a fuse. No code came up on the code reader.

My fuse was nasty as well I changed it and still didn’t work should I reset the car as in disconnect the battery for a little or does it take time to kick in

The camera should immediately function. If not, then it’s most likely an issue with the camera itself and would need to be replaced. Disconnect the battery for about 10min though. If the same problem persists, then we know for certain that the issue is a fault in the camera itself.

Can’t give a definitive yes but since the fuse is a cheap $15 - $30 swap, I’d try that first. If that doesn’t fix it then it may be the camera itself or malfunction with the computer delivering and receiving info commands

Great vid bruh. I had the same problem with my 14 charger. Could you do a vid on the Bluetooth problem fix? Mine went out randomly a year ago and I read up on forms that this is a problem with this gen of cars. I haven’t found the solution but the dealership wants me to pay a lot of money to fix it. Wanted to see if you had anything for that problem that I could do on my own.

Hey, i just read this comment. I work for Dodge. I have a 2013 Charger RT. As far as the bluetooth issue you are having, you have to change the HFM HandsFreeModule. $600+ if you get oem. I found mines at a junkyard $10 still oem. And the Charger i got it from was 2020 Base model with that smallest radio screen they made.

Yes, but the Dodge Dart rear camera fuse is located underneath the left side of the steering wheel

Its either the fuse, the camera itself, or a short in the wiring. Try replacing the fuse first since its very cheap to replace. I have another video on fixing the camera coming soon.

Hi how do you locate that 10A fuse ? Is it located at the sane spot for each charger RT ? Because i saw many fuses written 10 on them not sure which one is for camera

It’s location will be listed on the “Legend” of the fuse box in the trunk.

If not the fuse, then either an electrical wiring fault, which can be from any point, internal components' of the Uconnect System itself. Worst case the dealership may have to run the diagnostic, but call in first to get a price quote at least. You may have to press the person over the phone for a general idea for price just in case.

@@CandyBusiness i changed the fuse and it didnt do anything. Changed the camera itself it took 5 minutes. It worked. I found a wider camera too. Can see cars and traffic when backing out of my driveway
