2013 Fiat 500 Abarth DIY Greddy Profec Boost Controller Install

Hey KZbin,
Just thought I'd do a quick video on an install of a greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller. This setup has worked for me so far and works with the factory boost controller, this may not work with other abarths but does for mine. Basically a boost controller changes the air pressure delivered to the wastegate actuator and you can run more boost or even a linear or even flow. This video is merely educational and I am not responsible for damages!

@@jts_motorsports you have raised your boost limit from the ECU map? Or will this somehow bypass that? Many thanks

MyRayT it works hand in hand with it, you can raise boost but you don’t want to do too much as it can cause engine failure as well as ecu issues

@@jts_motorsports just to be clear, how much boost can you run? I have a forged engine BTW with methanol injection, what turbocharger are you running? I picked the wrong turbo based on bad advice and it's the only thing I'm working to fix at the moment

MyRayT oh nice I have a similar setup, I run a k04. I’ve seen 30lbs no issues but it’s not about more boost it’s how it flows efficiently
