Yeah, definitely not recommended for amateurs to change the headlight globe with the car and headlights turned on!

I am not that mechanically inclined ed, and I'm a little clumsy with my fingers. Comes with being older. That said, I managed to do this in about 20 minutes. Thank you for that!

Great guide, just to note the EU version of these take a H7. You can check which bulb you need on p57 of the manual.

Hey thank you so much this worked perfectly except it’s not the bulb that was the issue for me. At about 1:27 you said we want to inspect the contacts to check that they’re clean and so I checked mine and the plastic was melted and corroded a bit so do you know how I could go about fixing that???

It's recommended to always replace them both, as the other one is likely to burn out soon as well. I had a bulb last a very short time recently on my truck, and that is the only time I make an exception to that advice.
