Thank you very much! I love it, we spent 3 days test driving nearly every SUV on the market but with all the packages, performance, fuel economy, ride comfort and one of the best 3rd rows...it was fairly easy choice. Thanks for your help!

Sure! The Pathfinder can also do the same job for less. But I think the Infiniti looks MUCH better.

This would be the perfect car for my parents. It offers luxury, fuel economy, and 2 extra seats in the back. Great video

Excellent review. Thanks! Just bought a JX with EVERY option and I am loving this new car! The CVT is flawless.

How exciting!! You will LOVE your new car. It's so comfy to drive, and the electronic doo-dads are really something. It sounds like you got the Tech Package also---that is AWESOME!!!

Why does everyone hate on CVTs? It's ridiculous; almost like when people complained about HID headlights on cars -.- The fact is that CVTs are the future, and with the current 2nd generation CVTs from NIssan, they are actually quite a bit better than regular engines when paired to an engine with decent power. Imagine; no more waiting for the transmission to downshift when not stopping completely :) Exciting!

I love it and agree it could use more horse power but it's a good addition to the Infiniti line up.

Hmm, I'm winging it from memory but the sticker was something like $56K or $57K (whatever the full price is with every single option available). Then I got the price that USAA insurance guaranteed, which I think was around $52,800 or thereabouts.

With such a wide and bulky vehicle, the JX sure NEEDS all these 'safety' features.

Nissan understands how to make the VQ work with their CVT. Try a Murano some day. I say bring it on.
@booksyn10 жыл бұрын
If they made a shorter, 5 seat version similar to the Murano, I would like this car even more.

LOL I did the exact same thing. I drove them all! I thought I was going to buy a BMX X5, but quickly realized how rough riding it was. The Infiniti had everything---and more---that I was looking for. By far the best car I've ever owned. I love getting in it every day! What color did you get? Mine is black.

It took 2 months for my research. JX is the best. Mine is black exterior too.

Nissan does CVT's pretty well. I think they should leave their luxury division the way it is but I don't think they would ruin any of their models if they tried CVT's since they do them well.

I agree, I hear the Q7 will be redesigned next year. The 2014 MDX had a huge leaps in terms of mpg and standard features. Perhaps the Q7 is not the prime choice this year. Looking at a very slightly used 2013 Audi A7 instead for around the same price of a higher end Q7. Nothing can beat the A7's styling

LOVE this car, looks amazing. However I hate the skinny tail lights and the CVT. Seriously, I dont mind a CVT in a Nissan, but in an Infiniti? No please.
@rjc-ii12 жыл бұрын
The only reason the JX has a CVT is because it's the only transmission Nissan uses for FWD based vehicles. As long as the rest of the Infiniti line up stays RWD based, they won't get CVTs.

What vehicle do you own? We are purchasing an Infiniti JX35. Do you recommend it for a family of 5 with 2 small teens and one 9 year old?
@knack012512 жыл бұрын
Definatly like this over the larger SUV thats offered by Infiniti, if I wanted a very luxurious 7 passenger rig i'd def go with this, even with a cvt. ^^
@jackies3511 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing Snarwars! But the Q7 S line Prestige It's over $60k. The service and rating on the Q7 is so sad. I wish Audi would have too the time and respond to all of his Q7 consumers. The review on the Q7 is so bad that I went ahead and took a peek at JX35, Acura MDX, and the Buick Enclave. I am approved by Audi and dealer is calling me. I had my eyes on the BMW X5 body is outdates and the Q7, interior outdated. No smart key? MMI issues? And maintenance is expensive!

i feel like if they were to make a sonata wagon/crossover (i guess like that accord thing, i can't remember the name right now...) it would look just like this. from the front and back it looks like a sonata to me. just the way i see it i guess.

They should put an inlike engine and turbo charge it. It'll have torque offf the bat and very good because of inline n horsepower would be good. Even though I don't think nissan'infiniti have ever used an inline engine lol

As a huge Infinity fan and owner ( 2013 G37x Sedan ) , all the bitching and whining about the CVT and numb steering is really misguided. The CVT is the best on the market, and yes, the steering is a little lifeless, but this vehicle/segment wasn't meant to compete with a 911 or M3 lol
