Somewhere along the line, we have to face it. We can't have compact fuel economy, sports handling, luxury car comfort, and estate car space all at once. If we accept this Kia for what it is, it's somewhat impressive.

The Temp gauge is in the little screen in the dashboard, its your choice to leave it on display or not

Thanks, I just hate the way they have taken away most of the gauges in a car. They have room for all of them and the info screen in the center. I call it decontenting, I know the car comes very well equipped but adding more instrumentation wouldn't drive the price up hardly at all.

Nice looking car but I just can't understand why it doesn't at that level have a temp gauge. That dash looks like the one in the Honda fit. More gauges are needed , so simple yet cars are getting fewer and fewer.

Looks like the 2013 Forte is a carry over from last year as Kia anticipate for the redesign. Not sure why this review is necessary as you have done a 2012 model with the exact same SX-model hatchback in RED !

the next gen sx will have the 1.6 turbo from the veloster turbo making ~200hp

00:22 Prius is not even considered a hatchback, it's considered a hybrid. Um...isn't the fact it's a hybrid more related to how it's powered, and not the body style??

the sedan model is alot quicker than described here. he didn't even mention the handling. turn off traction control and u can hit corners like its nothing

for a 2.4 engine, it is lethargic at speed, I wonder how much it is the transmission's fault; this is where the Koreans fall short compared to the Japanese or Europeans.
