I went around to some dealerships yesterday and sat on many bikes, and my favorite for feeling and looks was the MV Agusta F3! It's now in my sights! The bike I want, gorgeous, and feels comfortable to me. I also love the light weight.

This bike is just awesome, love everything about it! And i love even more that it doesn't have ABS, taking in consideration that I don't ride on the streets.

Gyroscopic force is not reduced from a counter rotating crankshaft. The force is the same all else being equal to a conventional rotating crank. The reason for counter rotating is to reverse the rotational torque around the crankshaft axis. Supposedly assists in fore aft dynamics under acceleration.

In my opinion, has to be one of the sexiest designs a motorcycle today is strutting around. Beautiful! But I'll still ride my R1 ;).

I wish the MV wasn't so high in the price! I think at 10,000-12,000 would make it a major player in the Supersport game, especially here in the states!! I'd pick one up if it cost around the price of the Kawasaki 636 range!! I love the sound of the MV and the tri-pipes are super sexy!!

The R6 has had ride by wire for the past 6 years... but there is a reason why there's still a cable on the R6... each throttle body has 2 butterflies... the cable operates 1 butterfly and the electronics operate the other fly.... The R6 is by far the toughest race bike ever made... bullet proof motor, best chassis, brembo master, awesome stock suspenders etc... people call it "The Track Assassin" for a reason.

Y'all do realise that litterely the F in MV Agusta's F4 stands for Ferrari right?!?!? Little brand research will help alot. Yes the current F3 isnt ferrari designed or build, but the origin of the Letter F came from Ferrari designing the first 750cc Engine for Mv Agusta.

Not at all. If you knew about the brands' histories, you could see the parallels between Ferrari's and MV Agusta's history.

because not everyone wants a liter bike. Having 1000cc doesn't necessarily make you faster. I would much rather pay to have a nicer looking bike, with TC, and more advanced technology than pay the same thing for an out-dated GSXR1000

I have crashed several times because the front tire has locked suddenly and unpredictably over 30 years of riding. So I bought a bike with ABS this time. It adds 5lbs to the bike and can be disabled easily. What's the problem?

Should probably wait for the 2013 Daytona 675 to come out before comparing the 2013 F3, since the new Daytona seems to have had an overhaul. Last years models have been reviewed though.

I raced on the streets for 10 years, actually even more and I never crashed. I raced 10/10th's holding nothing back. Never crashed and always won my café road race! But go ahead and pay an extra $1,000 for ABS if you need it. I don't need it.

Jayz Xiang That F3 has a higher compression ratio and a higher redline than the Triumph. The F3 also has a higher top speed as well. The F3 675 won the first WSS races at Phillip Island this year finishing 1st and 2nd place.

In my country a Japanese liter bike would cost $ 10.000,- extra, if not more. The F3 would be much pricier than 14.000 but still a bit cheaper than a Japanese liter bike and the MV is by far the prettiest of the bunch. I reckon the cheapest liter bike would be the S1000RR because it's made in the country next door =P Damn, everything is so damn cheap in the States. If I would want a liter bike (Japanese or European) I would have to pay, at the bare bare minimum, € 20.000,- (€ not $)

11900 in belgium. New kawasaki 636 is even 12500 and 13500 for the ABS version. Freaking expensive if u know I payed 400€ more and got me a bargain on a just dialed in S1000RR

Looks good, really does. Shame it'll probably fall apart every 1000 miles or so. There's a reason you don't see many MV's and it's not because they are expensive, it's because they are in the mechanic.

because the bike's price is 11990 not 14000 and becouse 1000cc bikes are just for tracks who buy 1000cc to go on the roads is a nub. the f3 is a bike fast on the track fun on mountains and good in every situations obviusly is not good to long travel. and im sure in not longs tracks the f3 go faster than 1000 cause your better agility. 1000 cc are bikes for very very very less people. im sorry for my english i hope u all can understand the sense of my messagge. salut

TC on the F3 is a dumb idea !!! the bike doesn't make enough power to need TC... when it comes to racing motorcycles, it's all in the chassis... If someone offered to give me a MV, I would take it and sell it, then get myself a proper race bike.... What's the point of owning a street legal homologated race bike just to cruise the streets on it.... the least one can do is track days.
