The tornado unfortunately wrecked shop in Coal City, which had a population of about 5600 people at the time. I’m a lifelong Bears fan and have always liked watching the Ravens as a kid cuz Ray Lewis and Ed Reed led amazing defenses for years, but this game made me a Ravens fan.

My parents are divorced and every other weekend I would go to my dads and on sundays I would leave at 3 (right after the bears game) to go back to my moms. I remember having to leave mid game because this game ended at 5 from the delay!

I remember watching this game as if it were literally yesterday. As a Chicago Bears fan, I was like "Even on paper, this game is gonna be a rather interesting one & I can't wait to finally see it...". Although we had to sit through a rain delay, it was still worth it.

This was the perfect type of game to have a safe QB that limits mistakes...40-60 mph winds. Cutler would have had 5 picks, guaranteed

Eh. I don't know. Cutler's best game with the Bears was the divisional round playoff win vs Seattle in a snowstorm. Pressure forced Jay into mistakes. Not bad weather. He was a total enigma. Regardless of the wind speed, wind chill, or precipitation.

This was my freshman year of college downstate. It was unseasonably warm for mid-November the night before, about 70 degrees, went out wearing a tshirt and got plastered. Woke up hungover as hell in my dorm from the tornado sirens, looked outside and it was raining so hard I couldn't see the tree that was about 50 feet away from the window. We had a basement full of hungover college kids taking shelter and this game didn't end til about 6.

Sun Nov 17, 2013 = Week 11, 2013. Washington, IL may have been more SW than S, but it stands to reason that was a very tragic day for a lot of people. It literally came out of nowhere and was very unexpected for that time of year. The high humidity & balmy temperatures should have been a huge clue, but no one was thinking tornado in November.

@@mikedetrick7630 haha... my buddy and i did the same... we were in section 131 and we got stuck right next to a beer vendor... we asked him if this was normal and he was like "Nope". so we bought one beer after another until they were all gone, chatting it up for about an hour and a half... seemed like it went by pretty fast. then the sun came out and the bears won

This was actually a fun Bears season. A real roller coaster. Unfortunately, it goes down in infamy as they blew the division on the final defensive play of the season after a Rodgers 4th and long heave to Cobb for a TD. The offense set the franchise record for most points in its history, but the team (notably the defense) as a whole REALLY let a couple of games they should have won get away. Losses to Washington, Minnesota, the home game vs Detroit, and that final game vs Green Bay were really inexcusable. FOUR games they handed away on a silver platter. Just take down one of them and you win the division. For crying out loud... 11, 12, and 13 all were heartbreaking years. Story of the Jay Cutler era. It was always there to take, but things just went horribly wrong when they couldn't afford it, or key players got hurt at the worst possible time.

This season was so inconsistent, they started off 3-0 and then 6-4 then 8-6 and could have closed it out with a win vs Eagles but they lost that game and lost to the Packers on that infamous 4th and 8 play
