And that's why I love a v8 - not for speed, but for that throaty exhaust rolling around town..rumbling concrete. Makes me miss my GTO :)

Great video! That parking garage is so tight it made me nervous just watching it. I'd go nuts if I had to park in something like that on a regular basis.

+Maliq Warren Right & just think. Mustangs are relatively narrow cars. What if it were a Raptor Pickup, Camaro or Chally? Those are considerably wider. I was susprised how narrow that "passage" to the exit was!!!

That is a great sounding exhaust and thank you for taking us along for the ride. Love the Shelby's. I am running a UPR off road x-pipe with Flowmaster American Thunders, which I probably will change to the Outlaw series. Thanks again.

It's nearly impossible to enjoy a sports car in NYC. I spend more time avoiding potholes and looking for sneaky cops trying to enforce this stupid 25 MPH speed limit, and driving near idiots in there own world, I don't even get to enjoy driving. I would lose my license in a matter of weeks, with any car over 400HP lol.

brunoignaciogi 25 for me is painfully slow. It use to be 30 which was tolerable. It's 25 on major streets and 50 on the highway. Us Americans do drive very fast. I cant lie lol.

+302project There was a fair amount of drone so I don't suggest it if you are taking the car on long drives, other than that it was a great setup and just the right volume for what I wanted.

Very few opportunities to get out of 3rd gear in NYC. Speed limit is 25 on most streets and 45 on the "Highways". I will be posting a few more videos when the weather gets better of my car on the freeway and get some actual driving on camera.

If you still have it, dose it make a good daily driver?.
@boushkaa8 жыл бұрын
No I don't have it but I did daily drive it for the first 10,000 miles. I honestly would not recommend it as a daily driver as the OEM clutch is rather crap. Lots of people have had their clutch give out before the 5000 mile mark because of it. I never went with an aftermarket clutch so I can't say anything about that but I hear it helps a lot.

SOLD! I'm going to buy one as soon as my let's me. But seriously, did you ever shift past 3rd gear when you were on the freeway?
@boushkaa9 жыл бұрын
Not so much of a freeway, speed limit is 45 and traffic is constant. NYC isn't a great place for this kind of car. The 13-14 Shelby also has very long gears so you don't need to shift very often.
@blytelyfe9 жыл бұрын
So you probably will never get a chance to dump it into 6th gear?!
@boushkaa9 жыл бұрын
+SgtFred USMC Not what I said, I drove this car from NYC to California at one point. I have had it in 6th gear plenty of times at speeds over 160mph.

The 13-14 Shelby is not the car for people who enjoy shifting frequently. I enjoyed it because I mostly did city driving but it isn't as much fun on backroads or highways.

I can tell the way you drive you have a lot years of driving experience you drove a Shelby gt500 the king of the drag I know you got a skyline but hey take it to the track get you some money or take it out to long island and blow the exhaust out lol
@Ben-bg2eg7 жыл бұрын
Do you have a problem with second gear? Lol.
@boushkaa7 жыл бұрын
If you are referencing the driving prior to the FDR drive then you should notice that those streets are riddled with potholes and speedbumps where I can barely get over without scraping. I also never went above 4K RPM which is pointless for me to shift at as I will just have to downshift shortly after.
@countryboy41299 жыл бұрын
Sounds great but please learn how to drive a manual. You keep driving it like that you'll soon have to put a new motor transmission or a clutch ! Making the RPMS go up way to high and not shifting out can and will cause a lot of probs down the road! @7:17 you should be shifting ! Not staying in 3 or whatever gear you was in !
@boushkaa9 жыл бұрын
Don't think you can tell what RPM I was driving at during the video. At 7:17 I wasn't going above 3K RPM. I have been driving manual for years and am not new to it. The 13-14 Shelby GT500s are notorious for the lack of needing to shift due to their power range. I highly recommend driving one before commenting stuff like that
@countryboy41299 жыл бұрын
+boushkaa still could blow something bro. I'd hate too see something like that happen to such a beautiful car.
@boushkaa9 жыл бұрын
+Proudredneck97 Driving the car at 3K rpm in 3rd gear isn't going to blow the engine. Regardless I sold this car about a year ago.
@countryboy41299 жыл бұрын
+boushkaa ok
@gbales849 жыл бұрын
+Proudredneck97 3000 rpm is babying that car. It's a performance engine that is forged from the factory, it's not going to blow that easy. It's well built to handle that kind of driving, and that really isn't even driving it that hard.
