Now I'm no expert, but I find leaning forward when climbing to put weight on the ski's is a lot more helpful than leaning backward and falling off or having the sled land on you.

Not a single tether among the whole group... Really ought to be a guys first mod. I see even the guy with the doo, which has a factory tether isn't wearing it. Why don't you guys wear them? Ever seen a guy get his arm skinned cause the sled landed just right upside down and arm got caught in the track? It's ugly. Only takes a second to saw down to bone. Ask me how I know...

I am actually going to buy one this year. I had them on the skidoo I had for years and wore it only some of the time. It was a pain to use and back then we didn't ride like we do now. I understand the danger and have heard the horror stories. It is very rare to have that happen but more likely the way we ride now. I actually had issues with my tether when I had it that I almost got in a wreck because of it. So I have seen it both ways.
