For the New StellaSW,Shimano not only puts Shield around the body(WaterProofBody) and below the DragKnob(WaterProofDragSystem),like the last model made ​​by Shimano.But Shimano puts more Shield InOut the reel.No more water can enter the body,even through the bottom of the spool.

You can already order these bad boys from Japan for 1G (they ship to aus). I don't know how the warranty works though., so I’ll probably wait for an aussie release as well... Although, aussie prices are usuually a joke, so I might end up importing anyway, we’ll see.

Shimano Twin power can't compete with Stella. Shimano should product a better & stronger than that of Stella, combination of XG, HG & PG into one. One reel for multi task, popping, jigging & deep bottom fishing. SHimano can YOU do it!!!!!????? & most important bring down the selling price.
