Couple things, the stereo display has the option under settings that keeps the display bright during the day and when lights are on. Under general settings I believe, wife showed it to me lol. Also ths slides in the visors are meant for when you have the visors are moved to the side window position. Really dont think they ever meant for you to block your rearview.

I got this type and year of truck. Even the same colour. And I think I watched this video a hundred times while I waited for it. It was funny I knew more about the truck then the sales man that sold it to me. Oh and by the way I love it and highly recommend it to any lady's that want to go from a small car to a truck but are scared of the size of a full sized truck. It is awesome!!!!!!!

The screen on the DA head unit dims when the lights go on so that it's not blinding at night when it's very dark outside. Think of the same thing the models with NAV do when the headlights are on, the screen darkens to enhance your visibility outside the cabin. It's really got nothing to do with power saving. Other than that, pretty good video; Tacoma is the best mid-size truck on the road!

Hey! Nice truck. We have a 2007 Sport TRD. Want to share something with you. Toyota has a TSB out for Tacomas made from 2005 to present on the shocks and springs. Seems Toyota underengineered this truck and the springs will sag. Since it is NOT a recall, you need to mention it to the dealer. The cost to fix? $2800.00. Make sure you get it checked and fixed before 36000 miles, or you pay for it. Good luck, and enjoy your Tacoma.

Btw when purchasing the Tacoma at the dealership the Sales guy couldn't give an answer on why they dont have sunroofs as an option. Why is that? My wife decided to get an aftermarket sunroof*(webasto) through the dealership and that cost a pretty penny! LOL

You can have 4 wheel drive without having to have the off-road version. The offroad version basically gives you chunky off road tires and different rims i believe

Can you spend 5 minutes figuring out how to output your videos with SQUARE PIXEL ASPECT RATIO from your video software? Or maybe it's in your camera, or the youtube setting when you upload? You want 1:1 , 1 to 1, Square Pixel, something like that. Won't be very hard to find. Can't get a proper view of the Tacomas with this enraging horizontal squash.

I got a white 2013 Prerunner, very happy with it... Next truck I buy tho, gonna be another Tacoma with 4x4 and all that. :) Only thing I don't like on the Tacoma is the fake hoodscoop on the sport models. If given a choice, I'd rather save a little $ and get one without the fake hoodscoop.

And, your engine, does sound a bit rattly. Our Tacoma has the obligatory Toyota tick, but not as loud as this one, unless Toyota has changed something in the engine set up.
