2013 Vw beetle push button start problems

I had that problem with mine. If you put the key in the door and hold to the right for 3-5 seconds, it will reset, which can be an issue if the battery was changed in the key fob at some point. I’ve had mine since 2013 and only had that issue until I reset it. Read the manual as it tells you this.

I had the same problem with my bug! So I got rid of it and brought a VW passat with the standard key. I will never get a car with a push start again. To many problems. I hope they fixed your issue.

I’m having a similar issue with my EoS or PoS. Dealer replaced the switch or so they say and still the problem exists. I replaced the battery in the fob. Could there be a faulty receiver module involved?

i had the same problem, i was getting crazy but it was a simple issue. just press really hard the button, i think there was a problem with the button quality

I had the problem and was looking for solutions and saw your comment and boom i pressed so hard on the botton and it worked xD thanks ✌

Is easy fix , just change engine switch bottom , 45 dlls part , 5 min to change ..

Did you find out what the issue was? It is happening to my 2013 VW, and I don't want to take it to the dealer :|. I feel it is something simple, I wouldn't know how to take it apart though :|

You have to turn the car off Press it what are you putting your phone on the break and Put the car in acc mode what was pressing the button without pressing the break then press the button foot of but Holding the button down when you turn the car on without pressing the brake pedal I learned this from Volkswagen I got this little trick

I know what's the problem.. its a German car!!
