The fidelity of this video is much better than many of the other videos produced by Joan Chamorro. It may have something to do with the positioning of the mics or their quality. Having said this, I am still a great fan.

A pal & I were discussing the Ken Burns Country Music documentary. He lamented the lack of mention for Gid Tanner and His Skillet Lickers & gave me a link which included a menu for a lot of music from the twenties and thirties including early versions of this one by some very famous people. So dull. And then this one popped up in the menu. I prefer the club version, but this is spot on, too. I've noticed with other standards adapted by the SAJB that this latter bunch never mails in a performance. Their being "present" in the music brings us right along into it with them. They're making a lot of my music library irrelevant. Great singing, Eva.
